Hebrews 4:14-16 (NLT)

14 So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe. 
15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testings we do, yet he did not sin.
16 So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

Lord, I acknowledge and thank you for being my High Priest. You stand before the creator of heaven and earth on my behalf.

My confidence is in you Lord.
My hope is in you.
My faith is based on your reliable promises and presence in my life.
I have no reason to fear the future.

Jesus, our High Priest, understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same temptations as we do, yet he did not sin.

Lord Jesus, you understand me.
You know my weaknesses.
You have been through more than I will ever go through.
Hence, I can trust you to give me the strength to go forward.

We come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. Here we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.

I come boldly and expectingly before your presence.
I receive your favour.
I find favour with the people I have dealings with.
I find open doors.
I rejoice in the grace you pour on me.

We serve a merciful God who strengthens us

Your mercy gives me the favour I do not deserve.
You give me the strength and wisdom to continue.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for your throne of Grace.
