World War 1 (1914 – 1918) came to an end on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918.
Let’s remember these sombre facts – 9 million soldiers were killed – 21 million were wounded
– Uncounted number of civilians were killed and wounded – Young men were forced to join the army
– From this church men went to fight and die. Their names still remain on the plague behind me.

Let’s take a look at the life of David in the Old Testament – 2 Samuel 11 & 12 and see a practical illustration of this.
When the leaders decided to go to war they had no idea of the terrible consequences their actions would have. The same is still true today. The choices we make have consequences. That is why were need to be wise in our choices. The choices we make to do the wrong thing can have dire results on other people.
